Welp, I told you I would be more consistent in 2020 lol so here it is. Blog #2! Can I get a Hellllll Yeahhhhh (Gretchen Wilson Voice*)

If you don’t know, I am a married woman. That’s right in 2018, I changed my last name and I must say I don’t regret it at all. But here are somethings that I want you to understand about marriage. BABY! It is another job! My mother made that thing look so easy and effortlessly. For real she did! My mom is my super woman! So I sit back and think, how can I tap into those powers that my mom has? 

Well, fast track to 2019, the learning year. My God! I learned a lot about who I am and what I wanted for my life. I know you think you know this before you jump the broom but honestly, you are learning yourself all over again. You share now! I went from running all to an amazing Hubby. (y’all was looking for something bad there lol). Yep, he’s an amazing husband but I digress.  The learning year was something that needed to happen. By learning, I mean I had to learn how to adapt to the changes of being a wife and a mom. There is no manual out there but 2 things we do have is God and Prayer.  Somethings I didn’t understand and was confused as ever but I went to the G/P for guidance and direction. 

Now your favorite married guru will tell you that marriage is a walk in the park, but on that walk, you will trip and fall. You have to learn how to control your tongue and COMPROMISE. I know it seems easy when it’s all said and done but chillleeee, please. My tongue can be slicker than a snicker lol

God and Prayer! I tell ya, it works. 

I learned how to manage my life as a wife, mom, business owner, daughter, sister, friend, volunteer, church activities, professional twerker, your favorite cheerleader (knees of an 18-year-old, baby)  

Crazy, right??!? 

We don’t see the many titles that one wears but when you break it all down. You realize that you do secretly wear and ‘S’ on your chest. Sometimes that ‘s’ my fall off because you will get tired and feel weak at times. But God & Prayer works. He knows what you can and cannot handle and got you 500%. Trust him and watch him work. He shows out so well. The old folks would say, Have you tried HIM” Didn’t know what it meant until now. So have you tried him?

Remember ladies, we all are superwoman in our own way. And if anyone, tells you we all have the same 24 hours as Beyonce’. Remind, them she got a team and uses God and Prayer too. Baby, everyone’s road is different. Just travel yours with the following recipe.
