MMWK Day 7

🔥 Morning Mile with Kendra

Today’s Word: Break the Pattern

Scripture:

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2 (NIV)

Devotional

Cycles don’t just break—they get confronted.

You can’t pray for change while entertaining the same patterns. You say you’re tired, but are you done? Because tired complains. Done decides.

You weren’t born to repeat what broke you. You were born to rebuild better.

That means saying no to what looks familiar but doesn’t feel fruitful. It means unlearning what kept you safe but stuck. It means choosing transformation over tradition.

God doesn’t need you perfect—He needs you willing. Willing to pause. Willing to pivot. Willing to let go of patterns that no longer serve the version of you He’s calling forward.

Prayer for Today

God, break every pattern in me that keeps me from Your best. Show me where I’m stuck in cycles You never called me to. Give me the strength to move different, think different, and walk in the freedom You already paid for. Amen.

Your Move Today

Identify one habit, mindset, or routine you’ve outgrown—

and interrupt it on purpose.

Journal instead of scrolling. Speak life instead of doubt. Rest instead of proving.

Today, you’re the pattern breaker.

Disclaimer:

Morning Mile with Kendra is designed to encourage, uplift, and ignite purpose in your everyday walk. While many devotionals include scripture, not all are directly scripture-based. These reflections are rooted in faith, lived experience, and the journey of growing closer to God one step at a time.

I’m not a preacher—I’m just a teacher who knows a little something about having mustard seed–sized faith, and how it can move mountains.
