Year 38! It’s here Saints!
Today is my birthday. Now before you talk about me getting older, I want you to know I can go toe to toe with any teenager. My knees are 18!

Part 1: What I’ve Learned
In the 38 years the GOOD LORD has blessed me with, I have realized that the golden rule will take you so far in life. Now I know there will be naysayers about this, but in my life. I have realized just by treating others how I want to be treated takes me so far. That’s in personal and in business. I understand now the power of saying “NO”. It’s freeing to your mind and body. You can’t be everything to everybody and get nothing in return. Listen, God didn’t make any dummies. We just act that way. I’ve learned how people are only in your life for seasons is a good thing. You can’t take everyone with you to the next level. You have to know how to hold and how to fold them (isn’t that a song?)
Any-who. Back to the point at hand. I’ve learned that if I bet on myself 500% of the time, I may not always win but I learned something. What I have learned over the past years is meant for a book lol! Baby, I got stories for days.
Last part to part 1. Love is a beautiful thing. In order to be love, you have to know how to love yourself first. I know media makes marriage look like ice cream but honey it is work. The plus is I had awesome parents who showed me Marriage Life. Butttt in order for it to really work, you have to start by loving yourself first.
Part 2: What I’ve learned…Business
ooohhhh weeee! Business Business and mo Business! You have to be able to learn and continue to learn. Don’t fall for the “fake gurus” it’s tons out there. They know how to sell really well, and bam you have been GOT! Understand that you will fall but the blessing is, you can get back up and try again. God is a God of many chances. If he only gave us 2 chances, we are screwed right. Know you first business idea may not be the golden one. If being in business is something that you really want to do, keep going! Find you a mentor and make it happen. In my book, if you have a to pay a mentor $10000+ that’s a business coach. Find someone in your industry and see how you can learn from them. Do your homework first, just don’t go ask if they can be your mentor. Bring value and be authentic.
